Let's see...what not so very interesting things have happened since the last post? Not much.
- went to a friend's cottage one weekend where the sun tried to kill me and I read a Kathy Reichs book(gotta love reading about mutilated decapitated bodies while at the beach on nice sunny days...hee)
- saw the Queen and the the Duke of Edinburgh up close at Queen's Park(*huge grin*) as well as a bunch of the usual suspects(ie. the mayor, the GG, etc. etc....oh oh and exciting! the CDS of the Canadian Forces...he seems really nice...he interrupted the little procession to double back a few steps to pick up something a woman accidentally dropped on the other side of the barrier and hand it back to her.)
- watched the Shriners parade(wow, that lasted much longer than i expected) where I loudly(though at a parade, loud means the people next to you still don't hear you) told off a pervert who apparently thought I wouldn't protest to him pressing himself against the entirety of my back side, the jerk. I was leaning against a barrier so at first, I thought there was a crowd behind us...uh...ya, no.
- forgot about a library book so I had to speed read through
Maureen Jennings'
Except the Dying in roughly 3h40min(half the book in the first hour, then slowed down so my brain wouldn't explode) before the library closed that day
- watched Spain defeat the Netherlands on the pitch...for the most part, as I was nodding off at one point. I think my sugar level was low. I had trouble staying awake till I ate a few grapes and then I was wide awake again. Anyhow, way to go, Paul the Octopus!...I mean, Spain!
- after watching the
Double Rainbow youtube vid(totally hilarious), I watched the
Double Rainbow Song...and got it stuck in my head...
Ooooh! OOOOOOOH! *SQUEEEEEE!* I only just found out(ya, I'm behind) that the first two chapters of
